Donations are voluntary gifts that support the research, writing, and curation behind this site. They are not payment for a product or a service, and nothing is promised in return.

Gifts are charged in US dollars through Base44 Payments. Card and billing details are handled entirely by Base44 Payments and are never seen by us.

If you believe a gift was charged in error, contact us within 30 days of the charge and we will look into it and correct it where appropriate.

We are not a registered charity and do not issue tax receipts. Please consult your own tax adviser about whether a gift is deductible where you live.
